To address chronic constipation, take 10-20 per meal for 10 days. Best approach is to start with 18 per meal (54 per day) for 3 days. Then if having unassisted bowel movements (without laxatives), decrease to 15 per meal for 3 days. If not having unassisted bowel movements, maintain at 18. Continue decreasing by 3 every 3 days, so long as unassisted bowel movements continue. Once at 2 per meal (6 per day), maintain for 1-2 months.

The goal is to have a bowel movement for every meal. Anything less is constipation.
